La Piu Belle Champagne was recently recognised as one of the best Champagnes on the market at the Champagne Masters 2023. In winning a Gold medal, it was ranked as one of the best in the competition by a panel of expert judges, all Masters of Wine or Master Sommeliers.

The Champagne Masters took place in London on 14 March 2023, as one of the 25 Global Wine Masters competitions taking place in 2023, run by industry leading publication the drinks business. Among thousands of entries in 2022, under 20% won a Gold or Master medal, the top two awards, putting La Piu Belle Champagne in the company of the world’s best. According to the rigorous judging criteria, a Gold medallist must be ‘a brilliant wine that is a benchmark for its type’.

At this competition, judges sought out the very best Champagne on the market, open to all prices and styles made in the iconic French region. They tasted more than 160 entries, with 57 wines winning Gold or Master medals.

The success for La Piu Belle Champagne showed that since its inception, innovators Alex and Carrie Vik and their world-class team have been guided by the goal of producing a wine that would sit among the pantheon of the great wines of the world. Over the last 16 years, the team has poured their passion, hard work and singular focus into reaching these bold ambitions, building a family of wines – including VIK, La Piu Belle, La Piu Belle Rosé and Milla Cala – that has garnered international acclaim.
